These are spacious single-family homes, generally three to five bedrooms and roughly 2,700 to 3,900 square feet, with two-car garages and the kind of outdoor space, hot tubs included, that people actually use up here. But in a neighborhood like this, the lot matters as much as the house: how it sits relative to the course and the open space, what it looks out on, and how much privacy it has. When I walk Fox Valley Ranch with a buyer, that is where I spend my time.
Who it fits, and who it does not
Fox Valley Ranch is a good match if you want room, a quiet street, and a strong summer as well as a strong winter, and you are happy to drive a few minutes to the lifts and to town. It is a weaker match if you want to walk to a ski base or to Main Street, or if you would rather have a compact lock-and-leave condo with no yard to think about. Neither is right or wrong. It just depends on how you picture using the place.
